So...I'm sure you've guessed...Nate and I are expecting our first child in December. December 15 to be exact. This was the third ultrasound, but the first time he or she looks like an actual baby. I'm 12 weeks and 5 days today. We're both really excited. I wish I had a video camera on Nate during the ultrasound. He was SO excited and marveled at the fact that we created a new life. (Well, we both were and did). It's going to be an exciting 6 months, which I will try to blog about. I have to say, I am slightly hesitant only because I know so many people that want children but haven't been able to yet. I certainly wouldn't want my excitement to make anyone else feel bad. But, on the other hand this is our journal - I have to record it somewhere.
I vote you post away my love! This is such an exciting time in your life. It is amazing that you are considering the feelings of those who are struggling, but I don't think you should let it take away from your excitement and joy. I love you and I'm so excited!!! You and Nate are going to be amazing parents and I can't wait to see Pregnant Sarah :D LOVE YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! We're so happy and excited for you guys! Oh and just so you know, Addi goes around telling random strangers that "My Aunt Sarah's going to have a baby!" I think that means she's excited about it! Grayson told me he is too...Hope you're feeling better. See you guys in a month!

ReplyDeleteBrynn - Addi is just so cute! I teared up a little when I read this...and Nate's a softy too. We are SO excited to see everyone on the 4th! A week won't be long enough!
